WHAT HAVE YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS BEEN SO FAR?

I have competed at zone , regional , state and national levels for the past 4 years. I train in Coffs Harbour , Grafton and Lismore.
I have represented at both school , NSW and little athletics.
I have made finals in the Stawell Gift in Victoria at professional running level .
I have medalled gold , silver , bronze in all my events. I have broke numerous records in long jump.
I have been asked to train for worlds 2022 in Europe. Training in high jump 6hr round trip. I have applied to be on the Oceania team to compete in Fiji in June and have been selected to compete in Canada in July .

WHY DID YOU APPLY FOR THIS GRANT?

I’ve been selected by School sports Australia to compete in Canada July this year which is a huge expense on my family .
I’m also competing for athletics in Tamworth in February, Sydney February and Sydney in March.
My parents sacrifice so much to get me to competition.
The Canada competition will give me the chance to compete at an international level against other athletes. I have never travelled overseas and looking forward to representing school sport Australia.

HOW WILL THIS GRANT BENEFIT YOU? AND HOW DO YOU PLAN ON USING IT?

This grant will assist with my passport costs , travel and uniform expenses for the 21 days I’m in Canada and America. As well as travel insurances required.
By attending Canada I’m working towards my goal of worlds and the games. I will gain the experience of competing overseas.

WHAT ARE YOUr HOPES AND DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE?

I’m training in high jump to qualify for worlds 2022 in Kenya with 3weeks high altitude training in Europe. From worlds I’m hoping to gain selection on the commonwealth games team and possibly representing my country at the Olympics. I train hard ,travel 6hrs round trips . I’m dedicated and committed to achieving my dreams.

WHO INSPIRES YOU THE MOST?

I follow many athletes. Darcy Roper in long jump, he jumps 8.20m ranked 9th all time in Australia. Jack Hale, he runs 100m in 10.14sec both continue to improve. They are just two of a long list of champions I follow.

Also my mum, no matter what she will always find a way to be by my side and constantly encourages me to be the best I can be .
