WHAT HAVE YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS BEEN SO FAR?
Colby has achieved runner up in northern junior league grand finals 2019 and was also the most valuable players for under 14 div 2 men’s team for 2019 and has also been selected for the North Coast Academy of Sport squad 2019/2020. Colby was also the captain of the under 14 div 2 men’s team.
WHY DID YOU APPLY FOR THIS GRANT?
So Colby can keep playing the sport he loves and to help him trial for the basketball NSW Squad and compete in the Rep season for 2020.
HOW WILL THIS GRANT BENEFIT YOU? AND HOW DO YOU PLAN ON USING IT?
The grant will be going directly to Colby’s basketball costs. A representative season costs well over $1500 for 5 games and when he trials for NSW it is an extra $200 cost on top.
WHAT ARE YOU HOPES AND DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE?
My hopes and dreams for Colby is that he keeps enjoying the sport he loves and achieves any dream that he has. . Even though he is only in year 7 he already wants to become a sports physiotherapist for basketball.
WHO INSPIRES YOU THE MOST?
Colby inspires me from the amount of training he does, he never gives up and always keeps his head held high regardless of the outcomes he has.
