What have been your achievements so far?

I have been doing Rugby League every weekend on Saturday since 2014 and then started the seniors in the 2015 season and still continuing to do them today. I started to referee touch in 2013 in the junior comp then started the senior comp in that year as well. Since becoming a referee i have consider this is want to do when i leave school this will help me out in a huge way as this will get me more experience and also to learn of other older referees that have been refereeing for many years.

Why did you apply for the McDonald’s Junior Grants Program?

There are 5 of us in the family and lately we’ve been having money issues. It occurred to me that we won’t have the funds for me to get to Narrabeen. The grant would really mean a lot so I can represent Mid North Coast at Narrabeen and hopefully I’ll get selected to get to the next stage.

How will the McDonald’s Junior Grants Program help you?

This would help me to travel down to Narrabeen in Sydney to referee in the NSW CHS (Combined High School) 15’s state team if I get selected then I go over to South Australia to referee in the next stage.
