I have applied for this grant to help myself and my parents on meeting the costs of attending full time ballet, level 5 at the Australian Ballet school in Melbourne in 2020 and attend Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School (VCASS). I am required to leave home and live in Melbourne away from my family attending the Australian ballet school and Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School (VCASS) for my academic studies.
HOW WILL THIS GRANT BENEFIT YOU? AND HOW DO YOU PLAN ON USING IT?
This grant would assist in meeting the expenses which include:
-General living expenses while living away from home.
The benefits gained with me completing my studies at the Australian Ballet school, will be through all my performances and contributions to the performing arts within Australia and hopefully throughout the world.
WHAT ARE YOU HOPES AND DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE?
ENTERMy hope and dreams for the future is to firstly, to transition smoothly from moving away from home to Melbourne. Then finding me groove in the Australian ballet school, stay balanced in my performance and academic studies and continue to achieve at the highest level possible, while maintaining a healthy mind and body. While moving toward my ultimate dream of graduating from The Australian Ballet school and being chosen for a position for the Australian ballet company, with my sights set on becoming a printable artist in the company hopefully in Australia if not overseas TEXT
WHO INSPIRES YOU THE MOST?
My ultimate inspiration is Benedict Bemet, soloist at the Australian ballet. She was also accepted to the Australian ballet school in her first go of auditioning and her parents let her leave home at the age of 15, just like me.
She has always had beautiful technique and artistry, you can see the love of ballet shine through her and thats what i aspire to be and dance like. She has a lovely personality with a balanced mindset of reading books and getting outdoors whenever she can, she was the reason of why i wanted to pursue a career at the Australian ballet school and become a professional ballerina.
