What have been your achievements so far?

I am a member of the CLARENCE VALLEY BMX CLUB and love this extreme sport. I am currently ranked 1st NSW & 5th Australia in the 14yr girls and also 1st NSW & 2nd Australia in the 13-14yr Cruiser girls. I have been selected to represent Australia at the 2017 World Championships at Rock Hill, USA and will travel to America in July for 10 days to compete on 2 different bikes – 20” bike with 14yr olds & 24” Cruiser bike with U16yrs against the top female riders in the world.

What training do you do?

I have been training nearly every day since the Australian Titles in April 2017 and have wished for this opportunity for years to represent Australia in the sport I love.

Why did you apply for the McDonald’s Junior Grants Program?

My parents are proud of my determination and dedication I have been putting in and agreed to help me fulfill my goal and dream to represent Australia. My next goal and dream is the Olympics. I would be so grateful for your assistance with this funding in helping with some of these costs to represent the local Clarence Valley and also Australia.

How will the McDonald’s Junior Grants Program help you?

This McDonalds Junior Grant Funding will help with the costs of the Australian uniform $200, registration & insurance fees $199, international BMX licenses fees $145.
